Yahoo Cookies and Tracking?
answerman asked:
Deleted tracking cookies with Ad Aware.
Refreshed my yahoo page and ran scan again. I got 230 minor (stage 3) tracking cookies from some faves like Double click, pointroll, tacoda, adrevovler, etc. That is a lot of tracking cookies.
Is this the price of free browsing?

If you want, you can set your browser to not accept cookies. Cookies are fairly harmless, they just let your current visit on a website see information from past visits so they can customize the site (ex. Yahoo! giving you local weather). A Yahoo! cookie can only be viewed by Yahoo!, a Google cookie by Google, etc.
