most browsers now have popup blockers. check on the tools menu. i also find the software adaware every useful. i scan at least once a week or more. there’s a free version at - while you’re there you can also check out spybot for spywares.

Enable the pop-up blocker, in internet explorer. You can install the yahoo toolbar, or the google toolbar, both have excellent pop-up blockers..

your account is being phished if there are adds being put on the bulletin board under your name or your friends. This starts off as a fake facade that asks for your screen name after you click one of the bulletins. You need to change your password immediately to stop it and to prevent any further damage since this is a form of identity theft. Heres more info from tom, I hope this helps.

i believe some people are hacking into your friends account. i got a message of one of my friends and then she send a bulletin saying she didn’t send that comment and not to open it. ask u’re friends to change their passwords because there accounts are hacked!!!!

I don’t mean to be rude but you can’t. There is no such program. If there was, Click Fraud wouldn’t be reported in Forbes and on CNN.

What you can do to get a picture of your site’s traffic is install an analytics tool which will show you comparative data to look at v. what the Search Engine’s software is reporting for PPC. Urchin (now Google Analytics) is free. If you have the money, Coremetrics, Omniture are the big players. All use a javascript tag that goes on each page. If your reference to ASP is the Microsoft technology, it is compatible because it is a client side script you will be installing.

You can also look at the logs of your server through Webtrends or the like for a fee. Your ISP can possibly provide you with that or have an alternative. Yahoo! Small Business for example provides some of the same data from the log files.

I assume you are a small business owner so doing searches on the web for free web analytics or inexpensive analytics for small business might turn up some I don’t know of. Your only protection is to use analytics and watch for patterns that don’t fit with what Search Engines are reporting.

You don’t need to install any software like other answers have told you. The tracking cookies are perfectly normal. Yahoo Answers leaves tracking cookies on your computer. If you ever click “Remember Me” or something similar on a website, like your Yahoo mail, it saves a tracking cookie. This just is a little information to help make your internet life easier. However, every once in a while you should just do the ad-ware check and remove them. Completely safe though
